Most noble analysis work
As one mathematican stated, Camille jordan's work is the most noble analysis work, Poussin's most elegant and lucid, Goursat's most widely read(helped by its english translation version). I feel every student of mathematics, physics, engineering should start learning analysis with Jordan's work after a first calculus course. This book is a masterpiece covering new concepts(devoloped at the end of 19th century) with minimum rigour. Although I am new to French language, currently i am learning French through this work partly.
I feel a translation of this work without sacrificing the originality is very much needed for present day engineers/mathematicians..
