Theodore von Karman
Master Scientist - Aero Engineer Born Budapest, Hungary May 11, 1881 - May 6, 1963 Dr. Theodore von Karman received a fellowship to the world famous Gottingen University where he undertook the investigation of aerodynamic drag and the construction of one of Europe's first wind tunnels. He then accepted the Chair of Aeronautics at the Technische Hochschule in Aachen, Germany. His presence made the school an international center for aeronautical research. In reaction to growing Nazi influence in German academic circles, von Karman moved to California in 1930, where he was director of the Guggenheim Aeronautics Laboratory at Cal Tech until 1949. He helped to create the Advisory Group on Aeronautical Research and Development for the NATO countries, serving as Chairman of that body from 1951 until his death.

Home Majestic Personnel > Dr. Theodore Von Karman Relevance to Majestic Documents Von Karman’s name appears in a number of Majestic-related documents. He is listed as a Contributing Member on the "White Hot" report of 19 September 1947, and is also referred to in the 16 July 1947 "Air Accident Report" on 'Flying Disc' aircraft near the White Sands Proving Ground, New Mexico. (15.4 MB) Von Karman UFO Link , 12 May 1949 (242k)
As an annex to Von Karman’s FBI file, we include here a four-page document found in the files of the U.S. Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations at the National Archives and Records Administration at Maryland. The document is dated 12 May 1949 and is titled UNKNOWN [Aerial Phenomena], Review Reports and concerns a 27-28 April 1949 meeting at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, where Dr. Joseph Kaplan of the Air Force’s Scientific Advisory Board reviewed official reports of unexplained aerial phenomena. Interestingly, the document reveals, Dr. Kaplan had been ordered to conduct the review by none other than Dr. Theodore von Karman. This demonstrates a clear and undeniable link between von Karman and UFOs. The document also refers to the involvement in this issue on the part of the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project that is referred to in the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit Summary as having secured the site of a UFO crash in July 1947 at Oscura Peak, New Mexico.

Military Personnel MJ-12 Master List The list of military personnel tabulated in this document is the result of significant research by our investigation team, which encompassed analyzing all the leaked Majestic documents and related documents from archives with a keen eye toward aggressively identifying the people involved with this immense cover-up and treason against humanity. The techniques used to find the information were government document libraries, online searches, FBI file requests, National Personnel Military Records, and UFO literature reviews. THEODORE VON KARMAN AWARD
T he Theodore von Karman Award is named for the renowned Hungarian-American aerodynamacist and visionary strategic planner, who, together with Gen Henry H. "Hap" Arnold, forged modern Air Force research and development. In 1945 he completed two landmark studies, Where We Stand and Toward New Horizons: Science, the Key to Air Supremacy, in which he analyzed airpower during the World War II era, assessed current technology, and provided a roadmap for aerospace development in the postwar era. The von Karman Award is now presented yearly by the Air Force Association to honor the most outstanding contribution to national defense in the field of science and engineering. Mr Fred D. Orazio, Sr., Scientific Director, Aeronautical Systems Division for distinguished service in the field of aerospace science and engineering. Aeronautical Systems Division and its over 8,000 people for development, test, and procurement of Air Force aircraft, simulators, and related subsystems. Lt Gen Thomas H.
