EASTERN WATER DRAGON General Information Eastern Water Dragons are native to Eastern Australia from Eastern Victoria through New South Wales and Queensland to Cape York. They have also been spotted in Southern New Guinea. This species is very similar to the Green Water Dragon and is usually found near water where it takes refuge when disturbed.
