Extinction Shift Principle
A pure classical physics look at
Electromagnetism and Gravitation
in Euclidean Space
Emission and Re-emission done correctly!!! derived with No Relativity, No Ether, No non-conventional Physics using step-by-step clear classical
approaches only in a recently published book! For nearly a century now, there has been absolutely NO concrete, pure classical treatment to the physics problems pertaining to significant fractions of the velocity of light. No alternative method has been presented that are explainable with simple, intuitive measures without having to resort to the usual framework of Special and General Relativity. There is now a simple, profound and completely overlooked classical alternative to the Special and General Relativity principles. It is the correct alternative that uses only the electrodynamics of Galilean transformations in Euclidean Space Geometry alone according to the principal axioms of the Extinction Shift Principle ; a pure classical physics discipline coined and developed by this author.

Our faculty consists of eleven active members . The chair of the department is Jeff Urbach. The Department has undergone rapid change in recent years. Nine new hires have been made in the past seven years: Joe Serene arrived in 1993 and initially led the department as chair. He is currently the Dean of the Graduate School. Jim Freericks and Amy Liu , who both joined the faculty in 1994, have research interests in the field of theoretical materials physics, with an emphasis on superconductivity. Jeff Urbach is an experimentalist in nonlinear dynamics who joined the faculty in 1996.

Centre for
Chemical Physics

The Centre for Chemical Physics (CCP) is located at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. The Centre’s mandate is to foster and encourage collaborative, interdisciplinary research. Some of the finest research in the physical and mathematical sciences in Canada has been accomplished through our Centre since its inception in 1973. This organization was formed to encourage research in those areas of science, which overlap more than one of the traditional disciplines. Over 48 Faculty Members (along with their research groups) are participants in the Centre for an approximate total of 200 people. They include members who are active in research in the following departments/centres Applied Mathematics / Earth Science /
Materials Science / Engineering Science / Chemistry / Biology
London Regional Cancer Centre / Robarts Research Institute
Although the majority of funding is from The University of Western Ontario, faculty members also contribute a percentage of research grants each year, and corporate sponsorships are encouraged. Of greatest importance in realizing our mandate is the Visiting Fellowship Program, which brings a unique perspective to research at Western. Through this program, the members of the Centre have collaborated with over 120 senior scientists from over 30 countries. These collaborations truly broaden our horizons at a time when research is become increasingly global, increasingly expensive and yet increasingly competitive.

success stories.

If you like science and math and if you like to explore why things are the way they are, you will like physics.
The following section includes questions frequently asked by prospective Physics majors. What do physicists study?
Physicists study everything from the dynamics of the grains of sand on a beach to the formation of galaxies, from elementary particles to semiconductors, from fiber optics to computers. Physics is an experimental science, with nature remaining the ultimate authority on the correctness or incorrectness of any theory. Physics, as a field, naturally separates into two divisions: Experimental and Theoretical. Experimentalists typically work in a Laboratory, directly testing theories and measuring physical phenomena. Theorists work with experimentalists, trying to explain their measurements, or proposing new experiments. How do I know if physics is for me?

Summary: Applied Physics Letter , a publication of the American Institute of Physics (AIP), is distributed and detailed in this site, sponsored by the AIP. The publication is a "...weekly journal featuring concise, up-to-date reports on significant new findings in applied physics." The site is a compilation of available issues of the publication, which are listed chronologically, beginning with the most recent issue. No actual texts are open for viewing within the site; users should seek ordering and subscription information through the applicable link at the top of the site's main page. Each issue listing features the volume and issue numbers, along with the journal's individual release date. Users should select an issue of interest; a listing of articles is then displayed, showing the texts in their order of appearance within the periodical. Each article's record includes: (1) the title; (2) name(s) of author (initials, last name); (3) the page numbers where the article is located within the issue; and (4) a designation (via an icon) noting whether the text is available for ordering. Users should scroll to view site listings and issue listings. At the bottom of the site's main page are three major links. The first gives access to the AIP homepage, for further information. The second opens the "Titles in Physics" homepage, a service which allows users to search 47 AIP society journals for topics of interest. The last link, "Journal List," accesses a comprehensive listing of all AIP journals. The site is maintained by the American Institute of Physics; New York.

Being and Becoming in Modern Physics
Does time flow or lapse or pass? Are the future or the past as real as the present? These metaphysical questions have been debated for more than two millennia, with no resolution in sight. Modern physics provides us, however, with tools that enable us to sharpen these old questions and generate new arguments. Does the special theory of relativity, for example, show that there is no passage or that the future is as real as the present? The focus of this entry will be these new questions and arguments.

      1. Introduction
Around 500 B. C. Heraclitus wrote the following: Everything flows and nothing abides; everything gives way and nothing stays fixed. You cannot step twice into the same river, for other waters and yet others, go flowing on. Time is a child, moving counters in a game; the royal power is a child's. Transience is basic, and the present is primary. Those things which exist now do not abide. They slip into the past and non-existence, devoured by time, as all experience attests.
