(More specific links follow in the course of this article.) In India, spirituality is basically tuning one's mind to consider one's self and others as different from the gross physical body and the subtle mental body, and to be beyond the limitations of space, time and causation. Philosophy is the theory aspect and religion is the practical aspect of this principle.

    Greatest God Books
The Book Series that expounds just one grand theme:
    "We Are The Greatest God"

A rational pursuit of the fundamental quest "Who am I?" leads to but one answer:
"We are the Greatest God that ever was or ever will be. Christs and Buddhas are but waves on the Boundless Ocean which I am."
Embodied into a grand philosophy, the most ancient of all, this viewpoint remains the most exquisite flower from the bouquet holding together some of the grandest ideas ever conceived by mankind. The esoteric import of this sublime truth is presented in our books from a fresh new perspective. Who are you? What is your true nature? You are the Supreme Braham, the One without a second, who is of the nature of Eternal Existence, Infinite Intelligence and Boundless Bliss. That, which is the substratum of the universe, which supports all; which is the cause of the projection, maintenance, and dissolution of the worlds; which is bereft of all duality, and is infinite and indestructible

While we have respect for the other view points we believe an alternative approach to the contemporary social problems is required and that approach may be found in the ancient Sanatana Hindu philosophy. Sanatana Hindu Philosophy provides a holistic approach to the contemporary social problems with the society as a pivot . A bharatjhunjhunwala.com New Seminar Held on 5 - 7 June 2002, Tamilnadu Topic: interest of Ordinary Dalits Dalit Politicians, Dalit Govt. officers, NGOs etc. fail to bring desire change in status of Dalit Officials hesitate to help Dalit Community, Dalit leader afraid of loosing power More ...... There are a large number of documents available which try to elaborate what the Sanatana viewpoint may be. But these documents are rarely read because the modern mind is unable to relate them to the contemporary questions. We aim to address, through numerous media ,the contemporary socio-economic problems and determining ways to solve them through the methodology of Sanatana Hindu philosophy.

Being and Becoming in Modern Physics
Does time flow or lapse or pass? Are the future or the past as real as the present? These metaphysical questions have been debated for more than two millennia, with no resolution in sight. Modern physics provides us, however, with tools that enable us to sharpen these old questions and generate new arguments. Does the special theory of relativity, for example, show that there is no passage or that the future is as real as the present? The focus of this entry will be these new questions and arguments.
    • 1. Introduction 2. Newtonian Spacetime
      1. Introduction
Around 500 B. C. Heraclitus wrote the following: Everything flows and nothing abides; everything gives way and nothing stays fixed. You cannot step twice into the same river, for other waters and yet others, go flowing on. Time is a child, moving counters in a game; the royal power is a child's. Transience is basic, and the present is primary. Those things which exist now do not abide. They slip into the past and non-existence, devoured by time, as all experience attests.

    78. Philosophical Hermeneutics, Or Theories Of Interpretation
Graduate Hermeneutics Lectures this course will begin with a consideration of the background of philosophical hermeneutics (theories of interpretation) in modern philosophy (Descartes, Hume, Kant, Dilthey). Then it will follow the hermeneutic tradition in philosophy as it develops in the twentieth century, through a philosophical examination of the works of Edmund Husserl, Martin Heidegger, Hans-Georg Gadamer, J¼rgen Habermas, and Paul Ricoeur. In addition, we will examine the independent yet in part parallel philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein.

Telesterion Home Telesterion is devoted to the study and exploration of the human mind, the subjective experience of being a person; and to the development, training, and improvement of the inner experience, the human mind and the human brain's capacities and skills. Expressed in other, older, words to the seeking of enlightenment, called here self-development, and also known as self-realization, moksha or freedom, and by more colorful names such as union with god, attainment of selfhood, the great work, the knowledge and conversation of the holy guardian angel, illumination, the shamanic journey, the inner quest, inner journey, inner peace, inner life, individuation, wisdom, etc.. Here we will be exploring the vast terrain of nouminous subjective culture. This includes all of humankind's religions and folk traditions, fairy tales and mythologies, most of it's philosophies, mysticisms, metaphysics, and world-models; and much more. Nouminous subjective culture is that part of human culture which shapes the internal experience of mind the many things we believe or think about or feel which create our sense of meaning, our picture of our world, it's priorities, and our place in the priorities of that world.
