Bar’s Private Practitioner Survey Revealing Data on Billable Hours
Thousands of private practitioners in Missouri have already completed and returned the on-line questionnaire from the Alternative Billing Methods Committee. The special committee was appointed by President Dale C. Doerhoff to ascertain the extent to which Missouri lawyers use the billable hour method and identify the alternative billing methods lawyers in private practice might be using. Private practitioners, who have not yet responded, can click below to take the survey, which takes approximately 4-5 minutes to complete.

RESEARCH PROGRAMS Our commitment to research is strong and ongoing. We are confident that our efforts to discover and share family medicine knowledge and technology will continue to impact physicians' approach to primary care and improve health in communities across the nation. We offer an Academic Family Medicine Fellowship designed to prepare family physicians for careers in academic medicine. Family medicine fellows strengthen the research efforts of our department. Our department is home to the Center for Family Medicine Science . By encouraging researchers to share their skills, knowledge, and experiences, the Center addresses clinical issues confronting family physicians and helps them provide state-of-the-art care. Topics researched by our department include nutrition, rural health care, the role of social support in health, child mistreatment, the role of alcohol in health and injury, tobacco issues, fertility and reproductive health, and geriatric health care problems and concerns.
