Summer'2000: Discover the world! Last updated 3/9/00 For more that 78 years, North Carolina 4-H has built its camp program around centers located from the sandy coast to the forested mountains. More than 4,000 campers from all 100 counties, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, and Fort Bragg come each year to one of the sites. Depending on the individual's age and interest, a camper may choose from two types of camps: Junior or Specialty. Campers do not have to be 4-H'ers unless they plan to go to Horsemanship Camp. Other Speciality Camps include: Fur, Fish and Game, Marine Science Camp, Horsemanship, Adventure Trek, Target Sports Mini-Conference, and Cloverbud Camps throughout the system.
