Master classes in instrumental performance, piano, jazz, voice and composition are presented throughout each semester. Every night of the week, a master class, recital, concert, lecture, music theatre, dance or dramatic production is presented. All of these opportunities for performance and learning engender excitement and energy and foster cross-programmatic enrichment: dancers attend piano recitals; jazz performers learn about musical phrasing at a violin master class; pianists learn pedagogy at a music education seminar; performance majors attend seminars in music business; and so on.
