Product Description
KiSik Lee has again revolutionized the archery world with his second installment of the successful Total Archery series. Inside the Archer provides a unique perspective into the highly detailed world of competition level archery through 28 carefully written chapters. Each chapter focuses on a new technique element, and is beautifully laid out with large, full-color photos and diagrams that supplement the words of the text in graphical form.Inside the Archer is written as a collaboration between the teacher, Lee, and the student, Benner. The co-authorship creates an intriguing blend of impacting lessons from Lee and curious inquisitiveness from Benner. Never before has archery taken on such a lively form as Lee and Benner speak about archery with such passion and enthusiasm it pours out of the pages. Though at times technical, Inside the Archer speaks with a warmth that will remind any archer, past or present, why he loves this age old sport. The pursuit of grace, control, power, and beauty are the overarching tones of Inside the Archer. Originating from discussions of technique, a delicate blending of form and function takes place throughout the pages, ultimately cultivating passion in the pursuit of archery. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Total Archery - Inside the Archer
This is the most comprehansive compilation of how to properly shoot an Olympic recurve bow that is in print today. It takes the reader through each of the progressive steps of the shot process, yet at the same time making sure that the reader understands what is needed to be done, thought, and felt during the execution of a shot.

I have had the pleasure of chairing the Coaching Development Committee of the National Archery Association and I would recommend this book to anybody wishing to begin the road to understanding archery. This book can take you to where you wish to go.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good!
For beginners this is far too special, but for the advanced archer this is THE book. Buy and enjoy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Highly Informative
The layout of this book is beautiful. The pictures are amazing and the information, most importantly, is comprehensive and very well-written...understandable even for an archery beginner like me.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great book but!
This book is great if you're already into archery, pictures, diagrams, explainations etc. are very good, it's not a book for beginners. The reason I've only given it 3 stars is that when it arrived the spine was broken, otherwise it would be 5 stars, as it came from the US (I'm in the UK) I couldn't be bothered to send it back for a replacement and so mended it myself.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really useful and great book
This book is much better than the other Kisik Lee book. With all the details, and great pictures it is really easy to learn the correct/best style of archery. I think this should be there in every archer's book collection. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars You will learn something from this book
Basics, basics, basics. Expertise is a result of mastering the basics. As a shooter you may not use all the information contained in this book but I'd be surprised if you didn't pick up a couple of choice items. Well worth the cost.

3-0 out of 5 stars This book is about the air rifle
What may not be apparent from the description of this book or from other reviews is that this book is about the air rifle.Although some of its contents may well be transferable to traditional rifle marksmanship, much of this book is specialized information about air rifle positions, trigger control and competition and training tactics.

4-0 out of 5 stars Book review
My son is a young competative shooter. So I bought this book for him for Christmas. I was surprised to find out that he had read it from cover to cover. He gleaned some good knowledge from it and says that he will likely read it again.
This is a great entry level text book for competitive marksmanship. It reinforces good solid principals. It can be good for more advanced shooters as well if they need to get back to good roots.
